Interesting Town Facts.

Here is some information about Talkeetna that April and Bobby sent me before they left.  

• Talkeetna just started installing water meters in the town for both commercial and residential properties.  Apparently the town is up in arms over this.  (Read More) 
• April and Bobby noticed that most of the buildings in Talkeetna were incomplete in some way.  When they asked the locals why, they were told that people intentionally don't finish a small portion of the building so they can pay lower property taxes.  They often wait until age 65 to finish the work because they get a tax break at 65.
