Making Great Progress

Happy 4th of July

I find it funny that we are having hot weather here in Connecticut and April and Bobby are playing in the snow!!

Current Location: 10948ft
High Location recorded during yesterdays climb - 13602ft

Dave and I watched the SPOT finder yesterday and we were impressed at the climb that April and Bobby made yesterday.  It appears that they hiked up Motorcycle Hill and hauled some gear around Windy Corner and then returned to camp which they had to hike back down Motorcycle Hill.  Today appears to be another difficult climb.  They will be moving to Camp 3 which usually is at 14300 feet.  Depending on the weather and the strength of the climbers will determine what elevation they stop at.  They will have to again hike up Motorcycle Hill and doing some climb to get to Windy Corner.  At camp 3 is where the upper mountains start to come into view.  I can't wait to see all the pictures that they took.
