Hi everyone,
Last night i received a call from April. April was able to make it back to Talkeetna. Bobby and Mike are still on the Glacier waiting for a plan ride back. Everyone is strong and healthy.
The crew realized that with the weather declining, it could be sometime before they would be able to move again. At this point they weighted their cards and decided that they would descend and maybe try to have another adventure or do some site seeing.
I will update everyone when Bobby and Mike are back in Talkeetna.
Everyone is now off the glacier! Bobby and Mike got off several hours after April. They will spend the week exploring Alaska like "normal" people do! Well, sort of......tomorrow they are going to do a jet boat tour into some gorges and canyons. Through class 5 and 6 rapids. Then they are looking into sea kayaking in Seward to see orkas, iceberg and other sea life. They aren't in the mood for any hiking trips right now!
