April and Bobby checked in today and they are still holding at 14200ft. I'm sure that the past few days have been physically demanding for them even though they are not climbing. I'm sure that every few hours they had to go out and shovel their camp. I know that I hate shoveling the driveway, I couldn't imagine having to shovel out camp every few hours...ahhh i think i will go and put my feet up on the couch. LOL.
So what do you think April and Bobby did in the tent the whole time? We all know that they have trouble just sitting around.
In reading some other blogs of climbers that are also currently at 14200ft. The author of the blog said that on Sunday new snow fall was up to mid thigh. All climbers waited around anticipating the weather report. The weather report was that Sunday the snow would start to fade and that Monday would be half way decent. However, it still could be a few days until they climb again. They need some sunshine to help the snow settle to eliminate the risk of avalanche. Think Sunshine!! The weather for the rest of the week is looking good so keep your fingers crossed.
